Ayurvedic Health Consultation with Zach Zube

EMPOWER YOURSELF WITH TOOLS FOR HEALING, GROWTH, AND SELF- UNDERSTANDING.

An Ayurvedic Health Consultation offers a unique and balanced approach to your wellness from a holistic perspective.

WHAT IS AYURVEDA?

The ancient Indian medicine of Ayurveda bases its wisdom in nature. We look to nature to better understand ourselves: the rhythm of the seasons, the different qualities found in nature (hot/cold, dry/oily, etc), and how we relate to those qualities.

Ayurveda is a practice of self-understanding and self-healing. By knowing yourself more clearly and intimately, you become more empowered to make choices that facilitate greater wellness, joy, and ease in your life.

THE AIM AND PICTURE OF BALANCED WHOLE SELF WELLNESS:

  • restful sleep

  • balanced digestion

  • stable nervous system

  • reserves of energy and vitality

  • joy, radiance, and fulfillment

  • easier transitions through life

  • feeling established in yourself and connected to life

WE CAN ADDRESS CONCERNS SUCH AS:

  • sleep habits

  • digestive health

  • nervousness

  • exhaustion or fatigue

  • mental wellness

  • seasonal lifestyle transition

  • phase of life transition

  • spirituality

CONSULTATION FORMAT

Health counseling offers a unique format for you to discuss your concerns in a personal way, without being rushed through or brushed off. By working with Zach, he will offer questions, insight, and reflection to support your own growth and self-knowing.

Generally, a consultation consists of 3 parts:

Intake:

You will share a base level of information about your concerns.

Discussion:

In conversation with Zach, you will dive deeper into understanding your concerns through an Ayurvedic lens; we will also look for patterns that lead to aggravation/improvement of specific conditions.

Recommendations:

Together, you and Zach will process what recommended protocols would best suit your lifestyle, needs, and optimal wellness.

A NOTE ABOUT SCOPE OF PRACTICE:

An Ayurvedic Health Consultation is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any diseases. You are responsible for following any guidelines from your primary health care provider. Ayurvedic Health Counseling works best in tandem with your primary health care provider by looking at lifestyle, diet, and other non-invasive methods for bolstering health and wellness based on the concerns and information you bring to the session.

ZACH ZUBE

My practice is rooted in the wisdom of yoga as therapy, practical ayurveda, tantra philosophy, and other contemporary systems (Hannah Somatics & Feldenkrais). My goal through both group and private work is to facilitate authentic and transformative experiences that lead to empowerment, self-understanding, and compassion.

I began my formal studies in 2008, and haven’t stopped seeking since. My certifications include Yoga Instructor (E-RYT 200, RYT-500 in-training), Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist (AYS), Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC), and SomaYoga Therapist in-training. This combined skill-set gives way to a multi-faceted approach to healing; one that does not fit rigidly in only the body, the mind, or the spirit, but rather weaves fluidly between them.

My gratitude extends deeply to the lineage of teachers who have come before me, including Yogarupa Rod Stryker, Dr. Rosy Mann, Kathryn Templeton, Molly McManus, and Ann Maxwell, among many additional inspirational mentors. I am grateful to Tula for the opportunity to offer private services of Ayurvedic Health Counseling & SomaYoga Therapy, as well as workshops and class series immersions.

In my free time, I enjoy playing games with my husband and friends, hiking with our two dogs, and cooking delicious food. I also handcraft ayurvedic self-care products for my company, Element Ayurvedic Apothecary (found on the shelves at Tula).
