Winter Solstice marks the onset of winter. It’s the shortest day and darkest night of the year. It’s a time for us to rest, release all strive, and simply ‘be.’ The season of winter is associated with the element of water. Water is free-flowing, passive, powerful, and deep. Water knows when to move, and when to sit still.
