6-week series with Ann Blackburn, Wednesdays 7:15-8:30 pm (no class on 11/25) Hybrid $140/$135 members
Enjoy a mindful, therapeutic approach to building strength, enhancing stability, and supporting bone health.
This six-week series blends transformative movements of Somatics with yoga postures that have been inspired by Dr. Loren Fishman's research on bone health. With consistent practice, these postures may help support bone strength while cultivating greater balance, strength, mobility, and agility.
Each class weaves together gentle somatic movements to release habitual tension and awaken your deep core, therapeutic yoga postures with variations for every body, and breath practices to calm and regulate the nervous system.
Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, you will be guided to explore these practices at your own pace, building a foundation of strength and stability that supports you both on and off the mat.
