SomaYoga for Gardening will focus on the movement patterns which have been learned from working in the garden. Bending, lifting, kneeling, crawling, and reaching. SomaYoga provides tools for you to release muscle tension and soreness that can result from gardening. Raise the efficiency of movement and effort through awareness, alignment, and drawing energy from your whole body. You will learn how to increase your body's efficiency of movement and effort by building awareness and learning a practice that will support you. The workshop will include discussion, somatic awareness, and classic asana to apply to functional movements while gardening. You will take with you a movement practice to do at home. No yoga experience necessary.
